He has curated high-profile projects in museums and galleries across the globe, spanning countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, England, France, Germany, Mexico, the Netherlands, Peru, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States. His institutional legacy includes co-founding the Bronx Latin American Art Biennial—which evolved into the prestigious New York Latin American Art Triennial, where he serves as Active Chief Curator—as well as being a founding member of BxArts Factory and the current Artistic Director of Tabula RaSa NYC Theater and Performance Lab.

His commitment to critical discourse and historical documentation is further reflected in his prolific work as an author. He has published multiple influential books, including Latin America, The Culture and the New Men, Objective Reference of Painting, Reflections: The Sensationalism of the Art from Cuba, Dear Democracy, and Rigo Peralta: Revelaciones de un Universo Místico.
