The selected artist for this project was Carlos Torres. This mural captures P.S. 177 The Marlboro School as a living force of momentum, unity, and pride. The train reflects the town’s heritage and the steady forward movement of every student’s educational journey; each child progressing with purpose and direction. The vibrant letters, filled with various elements and mathematical symbols, transform the school’s name into a celebration of creativity, achievement, and growth.

“At PS 177, no one moves forward alone. It is a community where students are supported, inspired, and empowered to lead the way toward a bright future.”

The wolf mascot stands as the heart of the composition, symbolizing leadership, resilience, and the power of the pack. Together, these elements express a powerful message of community and unity.
